Timberdoodle Kennels, LLC. We breed foremost for hunting ability and attempt to remain true to the historical Italian philosophy of an indivisible gun dog bred for stamina, close hunts and persistance in the field or on the water.  Physically, all breeding pairs are tested for Hip Dysplasia as well as CERF (eye genetics) tested prior to breeding. 

Please be aware that we do place a restriction on puppy registrations with AKC. If you ever plan on breeding your pup, the restriction will be released only upon an awarded prize in NAVHDA or AKC hunt tests. This is to ensure genetic transfer of hunting ability in this versatile and ancient hunting breed. 

Also, you must make arrangements for pickup of pups as we will not ship puppies;  sorry but we won't stress our babies by shipping at 8 weeks old!  Be aware that most airlines will let you take a pup as carry on at 8 weeks or older.  We provide necessary paperwork.  Please check with your airline for specifics for carry on for a pup as each has different rules.
